About My Membership
What if I don’t have the time to participate in Chamber activities?
You don’t have to be present every time the doors open to benefit from
membership. We will keep you informed and you get involved when and if
you have the time. But the Chamber is working for you every day, through
economic development efforts and legislative affairs representation.
Even if you can’t dedicate your time, your financial support helps the
Chamber to represent your business interests.
How are membership
dues determined?
Membership dues are an annual investment. The investment schedule
consists of 6 categories. For businesses located inside of Atlantic
County investment is based upon the number of full-time employees, and
for businesses located outside of Atlantic County dues are based on
fair-share giving based on the volume of business conducted in the
Atlantic County area. Note

What marketing opportunities are there for my company through Chamber
membership?
The Chamber receives over 18,000 requests for information annually and
based on these requests we refer only Chamber members. Our annual
Membership Directory/Buyer’s Guide, The Voice bi-monthly newsletter, and
our website promote your business and provide you with low cost
advertising opportunities. The Chamber’s broadcast fax service and
access to Chamber membership mailing labels allow you to target your
marketing efforts to the area’s top decision makers. In addition, the
Chamber presents events designed to create business opportunities for
members. Turn contacts into customers by attending Chamber events. A
membership in the Chamber is a very affordable way to market your
business.

Where do our members
come from?
The Chamber is a regional organization. Currently we have approximately
1100 members that consist of one-third businesses from Atlantic City and
the balance from Atlantic County and beyond. The Chamber places emphasis
on marketing Atlantic City as a regional destination.
What benefits does the Chamber offer small businesses?
The goal of the Small Business Committee (SBC) is to assist and promote
new and existing small businesses that benefit from a healthy regional
economy. The SBC provides training and counseling as well as networking,
marketing and referral services to its members. Through the SBC the
Chamber offers member services designed to lower your cost of doing
business.
How does the Chamber’s business advocacy efforts help my business?
The Greater Atlantic City Chamber serves as the business
community’s voice before local, state and federal government officials.
The goal of the Business Advocacy Committee is to improve the business
climate in the region and serve as the premiere group supporting
economic development projects.
